Service Description
Sat 1/25: Qi gong flow for improved immunity and better breathing: This class will focus on purifying, nourishing, and balancing the lungs and immune system as well as the kidneys for longevity and increased energy. In Traditional Chinese Medicine the lungs are the “Commanders of Qi” and are the foundation of our vitality and healthy immune system. We will practice Qi gong movements as well as some healing sounds to access your inner power and will also massage areas of the body to promote lymphatic flow. We will end with a yin yoga practice to open and support the lungs and heart as well as the lower back and kidney area. Sat 2/8: AM and PM Qi gong routines to practice at home: This class will provide you with simple and powerful morning and evening Qi gong routines to bring more energy and balance into your day. The morning practice will offer movements to access the rising Yang solar energy and prepare your body and mind for the day ahead. The evening practice will allow you to bring your energy into a more grounded and relaxed state and create the right conditions for a restorative sleep and will welcome in the Yin energy of rest and renewal by of the evening . Class will end with yin yoga postures and pranayama to support both morning and evening practice.
